Singapore Government Scholarship is Funded by the Agency for Science, Technology & Research. It is a Fully Funded Scholarship for master’s studies Leading to Ph.D. or Direct Ph.D. after a 4 Year Undergraduate Program.
International students are invited to apply for the Singapore government Scholarships 2024-2025. There is no Application Fee required for this Scholarship because it’s a Government Funded Scholarship Program. The courses however will be taught in English.

List of Singapore Government Scholarships

1. International Graduate Award in Singapore (SINGA)

The Singaporean government funds this scholarship, which is intended to encourage talented international students to come to Singapore to pursue postgraduate studies. It is given to candidates who are interested in pursuing a Ph.D. in engineering or sciences. There are approximately 240 SINGA scholarships available, with no nationality restrictions.

The scholarship recipients will get a full tuition remission, a transportation allowance, a one-time airfare to and from their host nation, and a monthly stipend. The Singapore scholarship is quite significant, covering the winners’ tuition and living expenses for up to four years.

2. Scholarships for Science and Engineering at the National University of Singapore (NUS)

This Commonwealth-funded fellowship is for international students interested in pursuing a postgraduate or Ph.D. program in engineering or transdisciplinary sciences. Candidates must be citizens of a Commonwealth country and be interested in pursuing a graduate degree in computer science, engineering, or the sciences. The beneficiaries will be chosen based on their prior academic records, English proficiency scores, and GRE scores.

Successful candidates will get a full tuition refund, a textbook stipend, a monthly allowance, free access to social media and other related facilities, and opportunities to participate in conferences and workshops. The scholarship is only available for four years at a time.

3. Nanyang Technological University Scholarship

The scholarship by Nanyang Technological University (NTU) is inviting outstanding international students to apply for its scholarships in undergraduate programs. The scholarship is available in selected undergraduate subject areas and the scholarship will be awarded on a merit basis.

The scholarship application should be submitted at the same time as the admissions form. These Singapore government scholarships are offered to students from Southeast Asia who want to study at NUS, Nanyang Technological University, or Singapore Management University as undergraduates.

Students must be enrolled at one of the abovementioned universities and have a solid background. It is a fully funded scholarship that covers all expenses, including tuition, living expenses, transportation, and travel.

5. Singapore Government Scholarships INSEAD Foundation

The Greendale Foundation scholarship is for students interested in pursuing a master’s degree in business administration at INSEAD. Students from South and/or East Africa will be given priority.

Impoverished youngsters who have lived the majority of their lives in Africa, are from the working class, and are exceptional students are encouraged to apply. A $39,700 tuition fee waiver will be provided to the awardees.

Documents Required for Singapore Government Scholarships

The following documents are required in advance before applying. Do not mail any hard copy documents to the Singapore Government Scholarship office. Applicants all necessary documents are to be submitted online.
• Passport: A recent passport-size photo (in .jpeg or .png format)
• Applicants Transcripts & Reports: ALL transcripts need to be in English translation
• Applicants Bachelor’s and/or Master’s academic Transcripts: Bachelor’s Degree certificate(s) / scroll(s) or a letter of certification from the university on your candidature if your degree certificate/scroll has not yet been conferred.
• Recommendation Letters: 2 Recommendation Reports (to be completed and submitted online by the referees).

Eligibility Requirement 

Singaporean universities want IELTS/TOEFL scores.
English proficiency tests, such as the IELTS and TOEFL, are required by Singaporean colleges. In most universities, an IELTS score of 6.5 is required.
