List of University of Warwick Scholarships

1. Chancellor’s International Scholarships

For University of Warwick Scholarships 2024-2025 entry, there will be up to 42 Chancellor’s International Scholarships available to be awarded to the most outstanding PhD applicants assessed as Overseas Fees.
Eligibility of University of Warwick Scholarships: overseas fee status of PhD applicants and first year PhD students from all academic departments of the university.
Value of scholarship: full payment of academic fees and stipend for 4 years, and a Research Training and Support Grant (RTSG)
Deadline: 14 October

2. China Scholarship Council (CSC) / University of Warwick Scholarships

The University is delighted to announce the China Scholarships Council (CSC) / University of Warwick Scholarships. For entry in Autumn 2024, there will be 40 scholarships available to students who meet the CSC criteria applying to any PhD discipline.
Eligibility of applicant: PhD applicants and first year PhD students who meet the CSC criteria
Value of scholarship: stipends and return international airfare between the UK and China for successful applicants.
Deadline for application: 20 June, will cover the full payment of overseas tuition fees for the duration of the CSC funding period and a stipend enhancement; China Scholarships Council will provide a maintenance stipend and return international airfare between the UK and China for successful applicants.

 

3.  Monash Warwick Alliance Joint PhD Scholarships (Warwick)

The Monash Warwick Alliance Scholarships (Warwick) are open to all students applying to Warwick for the Alliance Joint PhD. For entry there will be up to 3 scholarships available to be awarded to the most outstanding PhD applicants who meet all the scholarship requirements.

Eligibility of applicant: Alliance Joint PhD applicants with any fee status

Value of scholarship: Full payment of academic fees and a maintenance stipend (UKRI level when in the UK, Australian government level when in Australia) for 3.5 years, a travel allowance of £2,000.
Deadline: 11 January

4. AHRC M4C Open Doctoral Award

The AHRC-funded Midlands4Cities Doctoral Training Partnership (M4C) brings together eight leading universities across the Midlands, to support research students to become experts in their field and to employ their knowledge and skills in their career destinations.
Eligibility of applicant: PGR applicants in the Faculty of Arts of any fee status
Value of scholarship: full payment of academic fees and a UKRI level stipend for 3.5 years, plus a Research Training Support Grant or consumables and travel costs
Deadline: 11 January
