The University of Reading is awarding Vice-Chancellor’s Global Scholarships to top-performing international undergraduate students. 100 Scholarships will be offered for 2024 entrance to the University and will be allocated to countries.

Value of Scholarship:
The Reading Vice-Chancellor’s Global Scholarship is valued at £4,000 and will be applied each year the student remains a registered student at the University on the same program and level of study. The Scholarship will be applied as a reduction in tuition fees. It cannot be paid in cash or used to offset any other expense a student may incur at the University (e.g., accommodation fees).

Eligibility Criteria for The University of Reading Vice-Chancellor Global Scholarship Award

To be eligible for the Scholarship candidates must:

  • Apply for and be admitted to a University of Reading undergraduate program (including Integrated Foundation Year and M level qualifications but excluding Degree Apprenticeship study) commencing in the academic year 2024-2025
  • Demonstrate to the University outstanding academic achievement.
  • Ensure their admission status is Unconditional Firm, no later than 17:00 UK time on 7 September 2022.
  • Not already in receipt of a full tuition fee scholarship
  • Be classified by the University as an international student for fee purposes.
  • Have completed all the appropriate degree course admission processes of the University, including the provision of any such evidence of compliance with the Eligibility Criteria and evidence to demonstrate academic achievement as the University may reasonably require.

How to Apply for The University of Reading Vice-Chancellor Global Scholarship Award

No further application is required. Selection will be on the basis of academic achievement, as evidenced through outstanding performance in the examinations or assessments (qualifications) offered by the student in order to gain admission to the University.

  • The Scholarship will be awarded by the University of Reading. No scholarship application is
    necessary. Students will be assessed based on the information contained in their degree
    course application and any relevant qualifications information supplied upon request by
    the University.
  • Selection will be made by the University on the basis of academic achievement, as
    evidenced through outstanding performance in the examinations or assessments
    (qualifications) offered by the student in order to gain admission to the University.
  • The Scholarship has an annual value of £40001
    and subject to these terms and conditions,
    will be applied each year the student remains a registered student at the University on the
    same program and level of study.
