Winnipeg President’s Scholarships for World Leaders 2024-2025

The University of Winnipeg is pleased to announce the creation of 53 new entrance scholarships for international students who will be entering The University of Winnipeg for the first time. Winnipeg President’s Scholarship for World Leaders is a scholarship opportunity for international students to study in Canada. Eligibility and Selection Criteria for Winnipeg President’s Scholarships

International students who want to apply for The Winnipeg President’s Scholarship for World Leaders should be aware of a few requirements before applying. To be eligible for the Winnipeg President’s Scholarship for World Leaders, the prospective candidate must have the following requirements:

Have a minimum of 80% average for admission or its equivalent.
Be an international student.
Starting the first year of any program.
Show exceptional leadership qualities.
Submit a complete application for admission before the deadline of the scholarship.

Application Procedures

A fully completed application for the Winnipeg President’s Scholarship for World Leaders must include the following:

• A completed application forms.
• A personal statement containing 250 to 500 words.
• A curriculum vitae.
• Two referees who can speak to your extra-curricular activities.
• A completed application including supporting documents (in one PDF document) should be sent to awards@uwinnipeg.ca
