The University of Sheffield International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship 2024-2025

The University of Sheffield International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship is hereby announced for interested candidates to apply for the university’s award program which provides financial grant for student to access education in the University of Sheffield. For the benefit of applicants, the application requirements, the eligibility criteria, application date and deadline as well as the application process has been examined in this article. The scholarships are competitive awards worth 50% of the tuition fee for an undergraduate degree programme starting in autumn 2024. The scholarship is available for new international students who meet the eligibility criteria.

You must hold an offer to study at the University of Sheffield before you apply for this scholarship.

• Students must commence study in any of the program offered by the University of Sheffield to be eligible.
• Students of Medicine and dentistry are excluded.
• A total of 50 scholarships are offered under Sheffield International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship.
• Recipients will get 50% of the tuition fees waiver for the program of their study.

Eligibility Criteria for The University of Sheffield International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship

Candidates must secure admission to be eligible for Sheffield International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship. In addition to that, they must meet the eligibility requirements listed below:

• Your programme must be scheduled to commence at the University of Sheffield in autumn 2024-2025.
• You must receive an offer for a course studied in full at the University of Sheffield. All undergraduate degree courses are eligible with the exceptions of Medicine (A100/A101) and Dentistry (A200).
• For tuition fee purposes you must be self-funded and eligible to pay the overseas tuition fee.
• You must not be a sponsored student.
• You must enter a degree programme at the University of Sheffield in programme year 1 or year 2.
• For scholarship purposes all MArch programmes are considered as postgraduate taught programmes and are not eligible for this or any other undergraduate scholarship.
• The University of Sheffield reserves the right to review and change scholarship provision.

Application Requirement for The University of Sheffield International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship

Entrance requirements for undergraduate programmes:

• High entrance requirements for undergraduate degree programmes at Sheffield reflect the quality of the University.
• The University of Sheffield has been welcoming students from all over the world for many decades and we have a lot of experience in assessing and understanding the many different international qualifications.
• You may be required to take an internationally recognized English language test such as IELTS.

How to Apply for The University of Sheffield International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship

The following are the procedures an applicant has to take in applying for the scholarship:

1. All applications for undergraduate study in the UK, including The University of Sheffield, must be made through an organization called Universities and Colleges Admissions Service or UCAS.
2. All applications must be made online through the UCAS website.
3. All undergraduate degree programmes at the University of Sheffield begin in September each year. We do not have an intake in January or February.
