The University of Nottingham ASEAN and Oceania Undergraduate Excellence Award is the University of Nottingham’s scholarship award, designed to support international students who have achieved academic excellence and show true passion for their chosen field of study is offering scholarships for high-achieving international students who live in countries across Southeast Asia, Australasia and the South Pacific region, covering £2,000 to £6,000 towards tuition fees in the first year of the chosen degree course.

Eligibility Requirement

To apply for this scholarship, you must:

  • be domiciled in an ASEAN member nation or an eligible country in Oceania (listed below)
  • be classed as an ‘overseas’ student for tuition fee purposes.
  • hold an offer to begin any full-time undergraduate degree programme at the University of Nottingham in September 2024

How to Apply for The University of Nottingham ASEAN and Oceania Undergraduate Excellence Award

You must apply for an undergraduate degree course at the University of Nottingham and receive an offer of study before you can apply for this scholarship.

Search for courses and find out how to apply through UCAS.

Once you have received your offer, you can apply for this scholarship through the scholarships section of the Nottingham Hub.

In your application, you will be asked about your achievements, study plans and reasons for choosing to study with us. Make sure you have enough time to prepare strong answers. We will assess your responses and academic merit when making scholarship decisions.

Please note that there is a strict word count limit for all questions, which is outlined at the end of each question. The system does not automatically limit this, so you would be encouraged to check your application before you submit. Any responses submitted that exceed the outlined word count may not be reviewed.

If you are studying in the UK, you should apply for the UK International Undergraduate Excellence Award.
