1. Entering Freshman Scholarships

2. Transfer Student University Scholarships
The Louisiana Community and Technical College System (LCTCS) and LSU are committed to providing transfer opportunities to those active members of PTK, Louisiana Citizens who want to pursue a bachelor’s degree after completion of an associate degree from an LCTCS institution.
3. Senior College Scholarships
Senior college scholarships are open to entering freshmen and transfer students to Louisiana State University, as well as currently enrolled students, who intend to major or are currently majoring in a curriculum within a specific college.

International Students application process
International admission requirements apply to any student who has international secondary or post-secondary educational credentials, regardless of country of citizenship, immigrant status, or visa status. The following the steps to follow in applying for the Louisiana State University scholarship.
• Complete Online Application
Applicants are to complete the online application for admission and pay the $50 non-refundable application fee. The application fee to the university can be submitted online by credit card, or mailed to the office by check or money order drawn on a U.S. bank. Upon submitting your application, applicant will receive an email confirming his/her application was received.
The application deadline for the fall semester is July 15. The deadline for the spring semester is October 1.
• Submit all Official Transcripts
After application, an applicant should send an official transcript, in his/her original language and with an English translation, from all secondary schools, colleges, and universities attended. An official transcript is an official record prepared by the issuing institution and sealed in the institution’s official envelope.
• Submit TOEFL or IELTS Scores
If English is not the applicant’s native language, he/she must provide their TOEFL or IELTS scores for proof of English language proficiency.
Either test’s scores must be sent directly through the TOEFL or IELTS website.
Submit Common Application Online
The Louisiana state university uses only the Common Application for first-year applicants. The Common App serves as the application for admission, as well as the application for all merit-based scholarships offered by the university. This application is also used as your Ogden Honors College application, if applicant is interested.

• Access the Common Application, and create an account as a First-Year Student
• Click College Search tab and type in “Louisiana State University” and add LSU to My Colleges
• Once all sections under the Common App and Louisiana State University tabs are complete and have a green check next to them, you may submit
