Trinity Scholarships
Duke’s alumni in the Carolinas have generously funded the Trinity Scholarships to honor Duke’s origins as Trinity College in Randolph County, North Carolina. We award them on a rotating basis to attract some of the most gifted students residing within specific geographic areas of the Carolinas.

Clem and Hayes Clement Trinity Scholarship
Need-based support provided to a North Carolina student admitted as a first-year student to Trinity College of Arts and Sciences.

Herman W. Bernard Trinity Scholarship
Awarded to a student who at the time of application legally resides in the High Point area, including Archdale, Jamestown, the community of Trinity and unincorporated areas of Guilford, Randolph, Davidson and Forsyth Counties adjacent to High Point and deemed part of the city.

A. J. Tannenbaum Trinity Scholarship
Awarded to a North Carolina student, with first preference given to Guilford County residents.
